Level three electrical bids with AI
Use AI to build a leveling table and catch scope gaps before you award a sub.
Tools
A general AI assistant that your company has approved for bid data. Keep a spreadsheet for the final numbers.
Steps
- Write out your base scope list (temp power, fire alarm tie-in, fixtures, low voltage, permits, and so on).
- Paste the inclusions and exclusions from each bid into the Sub scope leveling prompt. Leave out any sub names you don't need.
- Read the table. Treat every 'Not mentioned' as a question, not an inclusion.
- Put in YOUR OWN adder numbers. Never use AI-made dollar figures.
- Send clarification questions to each sub before you award.
